Are the ripples in your morning cappuccino? It must be the legs of an ancient lizard that tugged on that beautiful whide heart that your barista did in the foam. And when I said “ancient”, I mean since 1999. Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 have appeared on GOG, making the horror games classical easily (and legal) can play on the PC again.

There is currently a pack with both games, or you can get timid puzzles and discover the first game separate from the guns heavier than the action of the sequel. Both are good times if you are a fan of digital fossils. Although if you are a driver, you may have discovered these things on the PlayStation store last October.

Both games have surpassed GOG’s “game preservation” process, basically a collection of performance tests and GOG tests want to make to ensure that games without DRM, compatible with modern and simple machines to launch for modern players. They received a shiny sticker when they passed. Trilogy Resident Evil initially appeared on GOG one by one (one by one) through the same process.

A side effect of redoing Dino Crisis 2 seems to be very sharp characters, making the background its previous output looks faint when compared. As if Regina here was in a zoom call with a slightly blurred background.

Regina stood in a corridor of the machine, faded compared to her sharp character.

But look, these are some things that each game must ensure that they will work well on your PC.

  • Full compatibility with Windows 10 and Windows 11
  • New output options (window mode, vertical synchronization control, gamma adjustment, integer ratio, anti -serrated, etc.).
  • Complete support for modern controllers (Sony Dualsense, Sony Dualshock 4, Microsoft Xbox Series, Microsoft Xbox One, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, Logitech F Series, etc.) with optimal button mapping for both wired and wireless modes, including hot machine.
  • Added cloud saving support.

Dino Crisis is the favorite cousin of Resident Evil Games, but has long been neglected by Capcom compared to the Zombie explosion series. Capcom has released a poll to show that the series has many nostalgic fans. But there is no real sign of any remake that occurs in the style of resi games. Even Shinji Mikami said that “no room” for the series was restarted when Monster Hunter existed.

Meanwhile, GOG spent this time reminding people of their “dreamlist”, a list of games that users who choose to see appearing on the store (they are advertising this is a new feature but basically it is a beautiful reform of their previous “wishlist” has seen users do the same). Currently, another Capcom game of Yore is very high in the list – Resident Evil: Code Veronica X.
