Is this the last week I finally started Path of Exile 2 to join my brother and friends in Dungeon Spelunking Reveries? I know in my heart, I will play this ARPG for two or three sessions and then give up once I see even though the design and glimpse of the endless bonestrewn treadmill lasted before me. But perhaps a few that play will be good while they last.

Yes, the news was out. This means that I have more time to play games and may not have to think about them. I am afraid what will happen is that I will sink into the League of Legends and then what will happen is that I will think, “Damn it, I really should stop playing this game but I can’t”. Huh.

As a guiding writer, I have a real love for the old school strategic guidelines from the 80s, 90s and 2000. I made a commitment to start collecting physical copies of these monuments by 2025, and I started this by buying eBay for excellent guidelines of Piggyback for Vagrant story, exactly 25 years this year. Initially released for PS1, the story of Vagrant really deserves a modern remaster, because to play it legally, you must own the original hardware or download it from the PlayStation network. (Thankfully, I still have PSP/PS Vita.) But the boy, it is worth making effort. The combination of Dungeon Crawl mechanism, complex weapon system and Shakespearean’s storytelling will go down well with the software lovers and I can only imagine the instructions I have to write if the Vagrant story is re -released. Piggyback’s instructions contain eight pages full details about hundreds of possible combinations; Really something to see!

I still have an old time when playing Marvel rivals with the gang. Our biggest problem at this time is still really good DPS divers – Wolverine and Iron Fist. They seem to keep life no problem. It is very uncomfortable. But their time will come.
