Marvel rivals received a patch earlier this week, which made Hulk less than Hulky and paved the way for the launch of the first season. It also did something else: disabling mods players used to add custom interface to the game.
As discovered by IGN, players are reporting that the latest update adds to the asset hash, effectively blocking the use of fixed files inside the game.
This move may not be surprised. Marvel Rivals is a free shooting game to make money by selling high -end interfaces to players. Allows the mods to allow players to create versions of those interfaces for free.
