The CPU’s CPU last year was gained clean by AMD, Ryzen 7 9800x3D quickly almost naturally left Intel and their extremely core chips in a pile of mud and PE-SPEC rope. Coming to premiere to click on that advantage is Ryzen 9 9950x3D and Ryzen 9 9900x3D, a pair of higher processors even with many AMD 2025 hardware notifications.
There is no price (or the correct release date) on these things, but both increase the core and stream in 9800x3d while reaching the peak at a higher clock speed. And, of course, they shared the same 3D cache design that made 9800x3D become such a super -class CPU from the beginning. If you do not know what this is and how it helps the game performance, imagine how faster you can eat Wotsits if you have a large box on your table anytime, instead of standing up and walking to the kitchen to get individual packages. In this case, Wotsits is data, the bucket is 3D V-Cache and the rapid destruction of your digestive system is faster running games.

Ryzen 9 9950x3d | 16/32 | 5.7GHz | 170W | 144MB |
Ryzen 9 9900x3d | 12/24 | 5.5GHz | 120W | 140MB |
I will not bet on Ryzen 9 9950x3D to win the Ryzen 7 9800x3D crown as the king of gaming CPUs, although it is (and Ryzen 9 9900x3D) is really worth buying will definitely discount. 9800x3D has been a superior part and will constantly be bosses because something has a cache more than 24MB, so it may still be a part to upgrade if you do not perform multitasking or media beneficial from added topics.
AMD’s new handling processor, also revealed at CES, is a more diverse group. In addition to Ryzen Z2 and Ryzen Z2 Extreme – directly replacing Z1 Chips’s handheld devices such as Asus Rog Ally, ROG Ally X and Lenovo Legion Go – There is also a Ryzen Z2 Go designed for cheaper designs. It is a modest part, 4 core/8 themes forming the brain of the Lenovo Legion Go S worth $ 599 also a CES revealed yesterday.
Core/topic | Maximum boost | Graphic core | Buffer | TDP can configure | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Ryzen Z2 Extreme | 8/16 | 5.0GHz | 16 | 24MB | 15-35W |
Ryzen Z2 | 8/16 | 5.1ghz | 12 | 24MB | 15-30W |
Ryzen Z2 | 4/8 | 4.3GHz | 12 | 10MB | 15-30W |
Strangely, this is a mess of many different generations of AMD Zen CPU and RDNA Graphics Tech: Ryzen Z2 Extreme combining Zen 3 and Zen 5C cores, as well as RDNA 3.5 integrated graphics that are actually running games. Just do not hope that will happen on a new deck, because engineer Valve Pierre-Loup Griffais has arrived in Bluesky to close rumors about a successor Steam Sect Do Z2.
Also curious is the lack of AMD details has made their other ‘big’ notice, the first RDNA 4 GPU: Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT. There is no specifications, price, release window, Nada. They exist. That is a lot of you. It takes a deleted (arrested, PCG) article even to fail that they will come with 16GB VRAM.
However, this information did not stop AMD that allowed our Ziff cousin at IGN to test RX 9070 on the catwalk. In a Call of Duty Duty: Black Ops 6 benchmarks at the indigenous 4K, it averages 99fps, which IGN thinks that it is on par with a Super GeForce RTX 4080. Not bad, except for the latter being replaced by RTX 5080 at the end of this month, does not seem significant price. As with quite a lot of CES revealed by AMD – interesting on paper but the light of specific details about performance – we will have to wait to see how they do.
