It seems that no matter where you go, Mappa is still there, ready and waiting for something-something else you don’t expect. This time, you will find the studio behind Jujutsu Kaisen in ARK: Survival has risen, of all places, especially in its first expansion package lost Colony. Studio Wildcard revealed a teasing of the expansion yesterday, which will be released in November this year, showing one of the “countless” scenes that it will focus on the character Mei Yin.
If you can’t recognize her voice from all the grumbles she works in the trailer, Michelle Yeoh is showing her role as Mei Yin from ARK: The Animated Series, and she will also be joined by Madeleine Madden with Helena Walker from the show. The expansion will also include Moana’s Auli’i Cravalho as Meeka, that child hanging out with Vin Diesel in the introduction of ARK 2. Wildcard has been quite quiet on ARK 2 since the announcement in 2020 outside a few delays, so this at least marks some signs of life.

Lost Colony will have additional types that many expanded versions such as new capabilities, equipment, construction systems, similar things. The wise story when you are being hunted by, UH, Devil, seems to have a taste of the teasing above, in a “vast city” called Arat Prime, “Arks’ birth”.
ARK 2 itself has been delayed many times, and technically will be released last year, but considering Wildcard released a content roadmap earlier this year, having a plan to survive up to all stages to December 2026, and nothing for its sequel, perhaps you are safe to bet for a long time.
