Cave of QUD, one of the most interesting development projects in PC game, reached 1.0 this week

This happened on Thursday, but we were busy with other news, less interesting. Late or not, I could not let it overcome: the cave of QUD, The Roguelike is vast, strange that was developed for 17 years, pressing version 1.0. It brings many ends for the game, a modified user interface, improved and more instructions.

Introduction about trailer 1.0.

The cave of the Quid’s 1.0 publisher has been polished with a number of help from Kitfox publisher, known – in addition to their own games – working to bring the dwarf fortress to Steam. The cave of QUD has a complex, reaction, detailed world, but it is worth saying that it is never difficult to understand in the menu or its control as homosexual. To support those who want to jump on board, Kitfox has worked with Youtuber SBPlaysgames to create a guideline of the beginning.

On Steam, developers answered the “Next” question inevitable. After 17 years of work, they will rest, they said. “After that, we plan to continue updating the game, with two large features that already exist in it. Whether these are free updates or DLC paid has not been determined.”

I am very happy that they are still excited to work with new ideas for QUD caves, but I hope the free games also turn their attention to a new game someday. It seems that we will never see that from the developers of the Dwarf fortress, but I want to know what the next from a group is willing to work in such large projects.

We have not had a proper assessment of the cave of QUD since Marsh slipped through its mutant pond when it came to Steam Early Access nine years ago. Now Brendy has been completed with Indy’s tombs, he will turn his attention to QUD’s caves to consider before the end of this year.
