Close GTA 6 MAP Mod Project Vice no longer follow Take-Two Papyright Strike

A GTA 5 mod to recreate the entire GTA 6 map based on data and conjecture “leaked” no longer developed, after the parent company Rockstar Take-Two has a video of the project that is expelled from Youtube.

Having a Project Vice title and released to the public on March 20, the GTA 6 map can be played in the question is the work of the dark space YouTuber. In a response video published yesterday, Dark Space said Take-Two sent him a request to eliminate copyrighted through his YouTube videos about the MOD last week. Now he has deleted all the download links to the mod, without any additional reminder from Take-Two and said he no longer works in the project.

“I spent months building a map inspired by GTA 6 created by fans inside GTA 5-something completely created from passion, no profit,” read the introduction of the feedback video. “But right after uploading a project introduction video, Take-Two Interactive lowered it. There was no warning. There was no conversation.

Dark Space has since talked to Ign about this reversal, which he said was not surprised (a soul that could not sympathize could ask why, with that knowledge, he decided to work with it in the first place). “I expect this to happen based on their past destruction,” he said. “I went into this project when I knew it was a possibility, and the fact that it happened did not surprise me.”

Take-Two has not shared their reasons for the request to remove, so we have the rest of Dark Space’s own explanation for events. MOD is part of the loose Mapmking GTA 6 initiative, most of the activity from Reddit, which deployed a series of speculation and allegations of leaking information to outline the game’s geography. That said, Dark Space stated that his “most” map was simply based on the photos from the first GTA 6 introduction since 2023.

“I think my map may have ruined the surprise of their map, which I received,” he told Ian Games. “If you have spent many years to build this great game world only to have some YouTubers ruin the experience, size and vibration of the map … I also want it to be deleted.”

About why he decided to leave everything, although not commanded by our insects at Taken-Two, Dark Space observed that “it is clear that they don’t want this project to exist. Therefore, it is not only threatened, but it is removed.

All this naturally makes me much more curious about the deputy project. Is this just a lawyer of the group automatically shooting anything that smells from a distance as an act of infringing, or a mod, as the dark space shows, “a bit too accurate” in the portrait of GTA 6? I mean, it is probably before, but please don’t let my growing shortage ruin a emerging conspiracy theory. I dug a series of screenshots of the project for your eyeball and understanding.

All of this continues Rockstar and Take-Two’s hot relationship with Modding GTA scene, seeing them hiring a number of operators to work in the series while giving others Ole DMCA Blunderbuss. It will be very attractive to see how everything changes or does not change after releasing GTA 6, because the game is rumored to allow you to modify your own map by ROBLOX -style features.
