Curiosmos is a galaxy playground of planet's creation and creature evolution

Spore Spore evolved notorious, for all its errors, there were still many magic for it. It is interesting to design your strange creatures, to see them trying to walk and – in principle – to turn your humble creations into a space.

Curiosmos is a very different game, but it is a bit attractive. It is a galaxy playground, in which you break the meteorites together to create planets, then Tinker with the ecosystems of those planets to make life and see that life develop. All while a hungry black hole nearby, the desire to consume everything you have created. There is a video explained below.

I compared to Spore, a game tried to do everything, so I should emphasize that it is not the same as you are directly creating life that can wander your planets. Instead, you seem to interact with physics and elements of the solar system. For example, you can pull a cloud around to spread rainwater on the surface of a planet, perhaps turning it into an ocean world or simply making flowers grow.

There is a joy for all interactions that I really like. You don’t like one of those flowers? Release it from the ground and throw it into the deep space.

It looks like an interesting playground, but it seems to have some goals and stories for it. You are instructed, partly, because a satellite named Curio, who seems to have some plans to deal with black holes want to swallow everything.

There is no release date – and many scenes used in the day of video devs come from the introductions released earlier this year – but you can watch the game on Steam.
