Duskers is receiving a sequel to the ship after the year after Roguelike Sci-Fi scared us

The creators of the Sci-Fi corridor are creating a “spiritual heir” for the 2016 space game. The Studio revealed their plan in a video showing the three prototypes they are currently working. The title working for this is “humanity 2.0” and it will see you engraved on the noble ships to build your own ships and sometimes protect the ship from pirates trying to take it. It seems that you are still the sweater of a series of malfunctioning drones, who can now suffer “funny things” when you install upgrades, “like you don’t want to go down the narrow corridor because now it is a stuffy person”.

The sad, sad space robot is just trying to get? Yes, I care.

“What can I say? I still love Duskers,” said Tim Keenan, co -founder of Misfits Attic, in the video showing what the studio has done, including two other games.

The scene for Humanity 2.0 shows that players cut and rearrange the spacecraft’s rooms with the green retro interface familiar to the player of the first game. For example, players typed “slices” as commands to cut parts of the ship for example. But that is really all that we see significantly different so far. The rest of video conversations about pirates and hunting in deep space. But it seems too early to develop to show any.

Even so, Keenan wants the game to go beyond survival, including the topics “sacrifices to save these gloomy future survivors and restart humanity”. But he also reassured the viewer that the tone will still be quite cruel. “It was just a ray of hope, not a rising sun,” he said. “The game will still be dark.”

As I said, this is not the only thing the studio is working. Misfits Attic has three projects in the pipe. Others include a strategic game -based strategy game entitled “Scheme”, which found you “starting like a low person and increasing strength while overcome and against some high -ranking people very strong”. It is described as “Crusader Kings Lite”, in which you never have any army yourself, but need to use manipulation in the game of Game of Thrones to convince other factions to war with each other.

The third game is a temporary tactical chess game called “magic chess” but in it something strange is happening behind the CRT scanning lines.

Duskers is still one of the best hack games you can play today. It gives you the feeling of becoming a lost and lonely engineer hired by a big ugly company from non -planet films, except for everything you have is unnecessary drones and trembling hands floating on your command line interface. It is great to see the next day one day, but with three games in the assembly line, it may take some time until those gates are open.
