Given by many outside world DNAs, more than the Obsidian link, and from a technical perspective, it may be worrying – the selected version of RPG is one of the most broken releases in 2023.
Happiness, at least launched in a much better shape, and with some fantasy images that really can justify the flashing on the trace of the ray. However, the PC version still seems to have a few loose wires, worth it even if you can be neat with the appropriate settings.
The system requires accepted and PC performance
Cowowed’s proposed specifications do not specify the settings or tracking resolutions they have in the mind, so sad that I don’t know if I’m angry with them want an RTX 3080. However, nothing here is special (and therefore more expensive) and 75GB of storage space is not as bad as I expected for a big, shiny role -playing game. Note the lack of SSD requirements too.

These Rq seems to be accurate, not the hardware needs of acknowledgment and not bringing mistakes to the spud drilling rigs. In my free benchmark test tests, GTX 1070 can handle low settings at 37fps over 1080p indigenous and 50fps with FSR 3 quality. About what you want from the minimum parameter GPU, in other words. There may be some wiggling rooms in the proposed floor, depending on your tolerance to upgrade: RTX 3070, two levels decreased compared to the listed RTX 3080, creating 48fps at 1080p with Epic reserved. After adding DLSS to quality mode, that has increased to 67fps.
Tools such as DLSS, FSR and TSR integrated Unreal Engine 5 do not feel absolutely necessary to transfer performance wheels, although they can clearly bring large explosives. However, I suspect DLSS may be a little fault: on my RTX 4060, if I debuted, NVIDIA’s previous disabled, it would quietly trigger it without saying that in the settings. Therefore, many puzzling preparations in which my DLS ‘allow’ in graphic settings do nothing.
With the upgrade up to the heel, the RTX 4060 will continue on average 39fps on EPIC and 61FPS overhead, both in the local 1080p. It is not great for this special GPU, although it may be worse, and it may be if you have an Intel graphics card. The ARC B580, often can surpass the RTX 4060 in other games, only manage 46fps at a high level and be stuttered more often than the GeForce cards I have tested.
Well, right, the stuttering of Traversal, the ghostly ghosts haunted many UE5 games. Expect at least some of these regardless of your specifications, although at least easier to cushion the Jabs when you run in framerates generally higher. Even if that means forgiving the tricks of DLSS – 39fps of RTX 4060 on EPIC that has shot up to 59fps with advanced quality – or just, you have a PC Hench. For example, the RTX 4070 Ti can combine quality DLS with maximum image for 73fps smoothly at 73fps at 1440p, and include traces. It can even put these settings to 54fps at 4K, although by reducing DLSS at the same time to equilibrium mode. The new RTX 5080, is not surprising, has proven the hardness in this Rez, an average of 62fps with monumental images, rays and DLS for quality.
Monitoring Ray, I have to say, much more attractive than most games, almost entirely because its performance tax (compared to the lighting effects and reflecting the epic level that it replaces) is not all. Although not a daily difference and day appearance, I like the way to search for daytime scenes becomes more exciting, with higher contrast, working well in a game that even the face of your character is thrown out with the fantasy plants. And, while hardware crunts are stuttering, you do not need to have a new, high -end GPU for RT effects. At 1440p, RTX 3070 four -year -old only decreased from 52fps to 47fps after adding traces of rays to its epic/DLSS quality configuration.

The actual PCs should still be controlled clearly and mentally. My MSI GF63 laptop, with 8GB RAM and its RTX 4050, can only surpass the 30fps line, reaching 32fps at 1080p indigenous with low pre -order level. However, DLSS suddenly lost magic here, with a quality mode that only collided up to 35fps. Steam floors also need large concessions, only can not play with pre -settings and low FSR in performance mode.
These systems also see the worst stamina of the bundle, which is unfortunate that they do not receive much help from upgrading. There may be no errors like Starfield or brutal like Stalker 2, but it has an abnormal balance between loyalty and a positive victory that encourages tweaking approaches with its different settings. So do that.
Best installation instructions
As obviously became a PC game, only one thin minority group in Cowowed’s personal graphics settings has many effects on performance. If you are playing fast and loose with minimum specifications, it is still worth to start with low settings, but for more likely components, can keep most of their most beautiful epic levels while requiring good performance upgrade from the few you cut.

In the case of Cowowed, the quality of the darkness and global lighting quality increased when I lowered them on the RTX 4060. All other quality settings did not improve EPIC pre-improvement efficiency or only 1-2fps could not be recognized at a low level. Those people can combine to make a difference when you are struggling with 30 frames per second, but again, most modern PCs will not be like that.
I also propose DLSS and TSR to upgrade; FSR is not a terrible replacement for non -RTX graphics cards, but TSR looks clean for my eyes and is not significantly slower. Here is a detailed list:
- Movement fuzzy cannon: 0%
- College: Nvidia DLSS 3 on quality / TSR is over 67%
- Quality of glossy: Medium
- Global lighting quality: Medium
- Everything else: Epic reserved equivalent
These settings have my RTX 4060 up to 82fps, more than twice the original 1080p efficiency of EPIC and 23fps higher than EPIC with DLSS. If your own rig has a space for it, consider allowing the traceability: only reducing the average performance to 75fps, so it is almost not a set of frames in the style of tracking the path.
There is also a final installation that we have not discussed, partly because I am still not completely sure to do anything with myself. On the RTX 40 Se -Ri GPU and newer, it is also supported to create DLSS 3 frames, which can smooth the images: Once again on RTX 4060, with custom settings and traces, the gene frame has sent on average from 75fps up to 111fps. The input lag is also managed, with the total delay of the system rarely soaring over 50ms even when I tested it in quality settings that require more rigorous.
However, there is a sometimes but very distracting problem with creating frames. It is terrible in creating the correct box of Cowowed’s dialogue options, creating temporary light rays of the text that is placed in the wrong place when you mouse through the options. It is not as bad as a screenshot makes it look – it doesn’t appear as if the box is melting under the heat, in other words – but it is clear that something is wrong. Frame gene does not surpass any other UI elements, but still, I will not completely authenticate it until Obsidian (or NVIDIA) process a error correction.
It is optimal, sure. But at least it is not the option version of another Spacer.
