Microprose or whatever is currently promising under the decade Microprose banners have stated that they are publishing Strategos, a real -time strategy placed in ancient times. I did not hear about the previous game and my first reaction to the screenshot was “Oh Hey, Total War: Rome”. Later, I Veni, Vidi, Vickied on Steam page, and it turned out that it could be a shortcoming comparison, not only because Strategos was the creation of a unique designer and programmer with artists working under contracts. Strategos appeared much more focused in the battle re -battle compared to Total War, without seemingly controlling the world to worry, although it had some campaign elements. A Quick Chaser: Strategos is also the name of a military training simulation created by Charles Al Totten for the US military. Published in 1880, it was revived in the 20th century and affected a series of games on the board. I imagine you can also track its effects forward into video games.
