Sunday articles

Sunday articles

Sunday is to rest, allegedly, but it can also be to clean the floor, wash the bed and catch the job because you just need to do too much work.

Do you remember the electronic wireless program? Two of its hosts, Alice Bell and Nate Crowley, have started a new podcast “about video games (mainly)”. It is called Total Playtime and a set of episode 0 and a Patreon currently directly. The third host is Jon Hicks, whom you may be less familiar, but he used to be my boss and therefore can be considered the fifth Beatle of RPS. Anyway, listen to it.

Sam Horti (sometimes this parish) appeared in the New York Times this week, talking to Inkle’s Jon Ingold about writing video games. This has created a lot of discussions.

Jon Ingold found most of the best drum video games, Turgid at the worst.

Ingold, an author of famous storytelling games including 80 days and Heaven’s treasury, admitted that his tastes were a fake and reluctant game with single studios. But he was comfortable to call the heavy dance hall about the Elysium text, one of the most welcomed role -playing games of the century, was overwiched and really tedious.

I associated with a Felipe Pepe last week and buried it in it with another article. How a 25 -year -old MMO becomes a Pokémon Fangame.

Like any MMO, there are many other stories about iconic events in the long history of the game-Thanh sword of anger that no one knows to get, the mysterious door that only 999 characters can overcome the giant corpses of a bear.

Bertie bought in Eurogamer wrote about revealing Switch 2, and the fear that Nintendo is no longer the strange technology manufacturer they have ever had. I Ctrl+F’D this for “labo 2” but not found a mention.

Two things make me worried. One is that this may be the last form of the Nintendo game machine now more forever. Perhaps, as with a rectangular smartphone, we have reached the end in formal factor, from the design point of design. I suspect Nintendo will come back to create a standing panel to sit under the TV, so until the screen technology can be folded, it becomes cheap and reliable enough to put into design, this general conversion design may be as good as it.

Jay Castello, sometimes belongs to this parish, has made a YouTube video about “The Curse of Player Agency” on Starfield.

I continue to link with the pieces here for work and goals, and I will not stop. This week: Journalist Alexis Madrigal about having a “life project”:

You can say it is not; We are many aspects, etc. Books or poems or articles on their Instagram collect forces from this greater ideological system, action and intensity. And in any case: Doesn’t seem useful when looking for guide networks and Mycorrhizal as a basis for your creative life?

That’s it. This week, because I don’t have time to read anything in all the ways of playing and writing everything.

Music this week is Gothic Scuzz-pop from South London, the trip of Goat Girl. Then relax yourself with a classic, high coolie of the camp.
