Six years ago Nightdive Studios announced that they were making a remaster of System Scip 2 Sciel Scipe, they were calling System Shock 2: Advance Edition. But back then, they were also busy working with a comprehensive remake of System Shock. It turned out that for the first time going out to the Citadel station was given priority. But now they have completed that, the studio eventually revealed the release date for the remaster of the sequel, they sneaked the name of System Shock 2: 25 years.

It will be released on June 25 this year, as revealed by NightDive in the introductory section shown in the spring introduction of the game in the future. As you can see this is definitely the territory of “Remaster” in contrast to a complete remake. Resited, but not restarted. It is considered as a HD-inge line sweeping through the screen to display before and after the firing of the Stature Station and its hostile residents. Changes seem quite light, too light.
With the support of the widescreen, the enemy was renovated, “enhanced animation” strengthened and “supported the controller optimized” among other small improvements, we said. Some similar improvements have been able to achieve free thanks to the long -term mod of the game, which reduces the impact of these tweaks a bit for anyone who has done it. Remast questions have “paid special attention to many cooperative players” wrote the Craig news poster in 2019, after talking to director Nightdive Stephen Kick. It seems that there is no mention of Co-op in Steam Blurb but the studio has previously confirmed it is still intended to appear.
“Many players and cooperation are currently developing,” the studio in a tweet last year said. “We will share more information about these features and other features when we get closer to the launch date.”
System Shock 2, while being loved by many people, can be quite bulky when playing from a modern perspective. It will be very interesting to see if the changes make one of the best role -playing games on PC more accessible or not. Nightdive has earned a lot of beliefs with the series – Jeremy expressed a lot of love in the review of System Shock Remake, calling it “a surprisingly loyal and beautiful redo”. And this upcoming Remaster will be free for anyone who ordered the first remake, saying Nightdive. Therefore, it is great.
