Perhaps we can all agree that planting trees is quite good, right? I really can’t imagine a scenario in which planting is a bad thing, we need them to live after all. If you don’t grow trees, you may be an oil tycoon, or a squirrel with extremely bad survival instincts. However, if you may be interested in you in Creeplanter, a game with exactly what it says on the tin box? It was announced yesterday, and looked good, quite cute.

The incorrect Treeplanter seems to be a traditional game, more than something in the mountain vein, the priority is natural, lovely vibes. Described as a “interactive forest”, you develop a small landscape and ecosystem where plants grow, and animals flock to. That is what I can imagine spending 15 minutes at the end of a difficult day to help recover.

However, the most appeal of all is that the money collected from each game will go straight to charities to plant trees to help plant trees in reality. This is not surprising that the person who created it, Henry Driver, is clearly a sixth -generation farmer, along with becoming a game developer. Talk about living your name!

In particular, I quite like the last line from the Steam page of the game: “Please note that this is a small game without goals or challenges, created by Henry with the help of his friends – all about creating small but beautiful diorama, using tools and items from the game besides the influence of nature.” I myself are not big in traditional sim games, but this sounds like my alley.

Treeplanter has no release date but it will come around 2025.
