The main characters of the two most favorite role -playing games all my time have the same thing in common. Both (Best Final Fantasy game) Final Fantasy 8’s Squall and The Witcher 3’s Glem simply cannot leave friends and the whole world in a dangerous state while they sneak into a quick card ring, and I love them for it. Returning when The Wild Hunt released, there was a special edition that booted about that brought you a few floors for Gwent – the loss of concentration with cards, can play finally responsible for some of the best moments of the game. I sipped those floors, but I never got them. Now, Hatchette Board Games is giving a full version of Gwent next year.
This set contains “more than 400 cards and a playmat” for £ 44/$ 39.99. I am still recovering after many fantasy flights, so my feeling of value for these things may be a bit misleading, but that impresses me is extremely reasonable. A good Gwent deck only consists of about 25 cards. They are not bad cards! I had a real pet hate for electronic table versions that only used screenshots in cards for cards, but these versions have the appropriate artwork from the game on them:
Gwent himself has seen a few repetitions over the years. There was an independent online game that I had a little fun, even if it broke the image of CDProjekt that ‘there is no free transfer, DLC and a massage studio back by having the most unreasonable loot box that I’ve ever met. After that, there was a pretty good Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, put Gwent into a single story. Brendy likes it.
You can read the full press release here, if you want. This is expected to leave the third quarter of the next year. In another witch news, The Witcher 4 entered the “most intensive development period”.
